Typing
As technology becomes more embedded in school and work, it is important to know how to use various tools of technology. Long gone are the days of typewriters and white out (PHEW!) but knowing how to type properly and efficiently can save you hours of work time in the long run. Below I have put links to several websites which will help you learn (or refresh your knowledge) on how to type on a standard (QWERTY) keyboard.
Step 1
In class we will watch and participate in the following tutorial. If you are absent for that day or you simply want to rewatch the videos click the button below
Step 2
Go to the sense-lang.org website. Class codes are as follows:
In class I will hand out your usernames. For many of you this will simply be your NOVA student ID #. If this doesn't work add a zero to the end of your ID number. You can always email me for your username, but remember I check my email twice a day, so emailing me the night before an assignment is due is probably not the best idea.

Step 3
Maybe you are a competitive person. Maybe you want to improve your typing skills. Maybe you are VERY bored at home one day. Whatever the motive, I have left a link for some more fun, and completely optional, games below. Feel free to continue to improve your skills in your free time.
